This year my office is supporting two institutions, the Gravesend Messenger’s Christmas appeal and our local Citizens Advice Bureau.
I make no apologies for raising the increasing problem of debt because debt is a growing worry for many people in an economic downturn especially when there is so much pressure to spend money at Christmas.
If you are experiencing mortgage, credit card or more general debt problems I strongly urge you to contact our Citizens Advice Bureau as soon as possible. They have experts on debt management – who really can help prevent things from going from bad to worse.
